BUILD STRONG
Like all things in life, camp often presents the unexpected. Last night many of our campers embarked on a new adventure when it rained in the middle of their overnight. Our staff and campers were absolutely amazing throughout the whole process. Two directors met everyone at the campsite and they all hiked out to where Frost Valley buses met them and brought them back to the farm. It was something out of a Harry Potter film as five of our yurts came together with flashlights, camp songs, and marshmallows to make the journey to the vehicles. Everyone made the experience fun and all the campers were grateful to return to dry beds and go straight to sleep.
Today we enjoyed a little bit of sunshine and played an all-camp game called geronimo. Campers also wrapped up their specialties, as today is the last day of week one. Tomorrow and Sunday will have altered schedules as we have all camp activities planned. Tonight’s evening program is a spin on capture the flag.
