Call For Session 2 Camper Videos

This is the time when Overnight Camp would have been in session 2, but unfortunately camp is quiet without the sounds of summer campers laughing as they greet friends and counselors and check into their lodgings. We know your camper is missing this experience as much as we miss them, and we can’t wait to welcome back all of our campers in 2021!

But in the meantime, we have an idea…

We would love to hear from our Overnight Campers through short videos answering one or more of the following questions:

What is your favorite camp memory?
Tell us about a friend you met at camp and a happy memory you have with them. For the sake of their privacy, please do not use full names.
What’s the most important thing you have learned at camp?
Why should every child have the chance to go to Frost Valley?
What would the world miss out on if there was no Frost Valley?
First-Time Campers: What were you looking forward to this year, and what do you hope camp will be like in 2021?

If you’re willing and able to participate, please ask your camper to include their full name, the name of the village they were going to be in this year, and what session they were planning to attend.

Have fun with this project! These don’t have to be “professional” videos and can be recorded on a smartphone. For the sake of file size, we ask that you pease keep the video to under 5 minutes. Please email your video to info@frostvalle y.org.

We would be so grateful if you could send your videos by the following dates:

Session 2 Campers – Sunday, July 19, 2020

Session 3 Campers – Sunday, August 2, 2020

Session 4 Campers – Sunday, August 23, 2020

Once we receive the submissions we will compile them into video messages for our camp families to enjoy. We also hope that these videos will help show our kind and caring donors how important it is that Frost Valley remains strong and ready to host camp again in 2021!

Even if you’re unable to participate, we’ll send all of our campers the final product so they can see their fellow campers who would have attended camp at the same time on what would have been their check out day this year.

We can’t wait to see what your camper your camper has to share!
