NOTE: Unless mandated by the Department of Health, Frost Valley WILL NOT be requiring campers to be vaccinated for COVID-19 for Summer 2023, but we are STRONGLY RECOMMENDING parents get their children vaccinated. We will be working with the New York State Department of Health, CDC, and American Camp Association to stay updated on guidelines.
2023 Day Camp Brochure:
Frost Valley YMCA Day Camp provides a safe and enriching summer experience to children, ages 4-15, from the local community. Counselors experienced in childcare and recreation lead kids through days of adventure and excitement in the great outdoors. Bus transportation is available from several locations in Sullivan and Ulster Counties.
Day camp introduces children to our timeless traditions (camp calls, gunging the counselors, singing hoopla) and our eight core values (caring, community, diversity, honesty, inclusiveness, respect, responsibility, stewardship). It’s the perfect way for campers of all ages to become a part of the wider Frost Valley community. Along with newfound confidence and independence, children gain a strong sense of community as they take part in daily activities, including arts and crafts, sports and games, hiking, climbing, swimming, and soaring on the flying squirrel!
