Have an Extreme Survival Experience!
Do you have what it takes to survive in the Catskill Mountains with no cell phone and no civilization in sight? In a wilderness survival situation, could you make it through the night let alone an entire week?
If your tween or teen is up for a thrilling challenge, this one-week Adventure Survival Camp led by trained survival professionals will grow their confidence as they push beyond their comfort zones. Under careful supervision, your camper will gain valuable outdoor survival skills, as they’re put to the test in exhilarating survival and endurance scenarios such as:
- Creating shelters from resources found in nature
- Foraging for food and learning to set traps
- Building fire to cook over and stay warm
- Navigating waterways and rough terrain
- Employing various methods of self-rescue
Campers are outfitted with essential outdoor gear, so they can experience
simulated, yet very real, survival scenarios in the wilderness. Campers develop grit and resilience as they test the boundaries of their physical and mental toughness. This is the only Frost Valley program where campers rappel down a 50-foot waterfall!
Campers will explore and develop an appreciation for the natural world around them, while building a strong bond with their fellow survivalists. Campers can choose their own challenges to ensure they strive to reach individual and cooperative goals.
Throughout this exciting one-week program, your camper will gain a sense of accomplishment as they overcome challenges they never imagined before. Frost Valley’s renowned, core values are infused in each of these extreme excursions, all of which take place in a fun and safe outdoor environment.
