NOTE: Unless mandated by the Department of Health, Frost Valley WILL NOT be requiring campers to be vaccinated for COVID-19 for Summer 2023, but we are STRONGLY RECOMMENDING parents get their children vaccinated. We will be working with the New York State Department of Health, CDC, and American Camp Association to stay updated on guidelines.

ADIRONDACK 90-MILE PADDLER (GRADES 9-10)

Looking for an adventure to push and build your paddling skills through the pristine lakes of the Adirondacks? Then the 90-mile Adirondack Paddler is for you! This trip features 12 lakes, 9 portages, and one major river starting in Old Forge through the Fulton Chain and along the Raquette River to finish on Tupper Lake. Six campers and their two trip leaders will be paddling approximately 10 miles a day – but could see longer or shorter days depending on the terrain – while practicing proper canoe carry technique, good paddling practice, water safety, and backcountry leadership skills.

This is the advanced trip in the paddling leadership progression. Campers should have previous paddling experience and should be comfortable in the water before embarking on this trip.
