The Best Way to Build Leadership in Teens

The Frost Valley YMCA in-Training Program guides teens entering 11th grade in the Fall on the path to leadership, preparing them for employment as a counselor. The month-long program concentrates on leadership training, team building, skill development, service to camp, and personal growth. In a month’s time, we witness profound transformations, from camper to counselor, as these kids gain confidence and independence.

The in-Training Program is for campers who have demonstrated responsibility, maturity and an interest in learning how to take more of a leadership role at camp.

The month-long program will include leadership & counselor training, teambuilding exercises, skill development, and service to camp.
