A Horseback Journey Through the Catskills

Horse Trails

This one-week program is designed for both boys and girls entering grades 8 and above (min age 12).

Saddle up and hit the trail for this exciting horse trekking adventure through our pristine Catskill Mountain trails. Spend full days exploring on horseback with our NEW trail route. Riders will spend more time on their horses than ever before! Campers will have full responsibility for caring for their horse while on the trail including grooming, tacking, feeding, and much more. Learn outdoor wilderness skills while spending nights at campsites. This challenging yet fun excursion requires that riders be confident walking/trotting a horse and comfortable in the great outdoors. Participants must have previous riding experience, preferably in Frost Valley’s equestrian programs. Call to find out if Horse Trails is a good fit for your camper.
