Good Evening from East Valley Ranch! Since you’ve last read about our adventures, we’ve had many more in the valley.  Sunday was our theme day of the session! Campers awoke to a note being slid under their yurt doors alerting them that not only had someone stole all the horses from the valley, but it was one of our very own counselors that had betrayed the camp and helped the horse thieves! Good Evening from East Valley Ranch! It has been a jam packed few days here in the Valley, but in the best possible way! Campers have spent the week catching up with old friends and making all our newest additions feel right at home.  Wednesday was our low ropes day where campers sharpened their communication and trust skills with their fellow yurt mates as they spotted one another through the elements. Good Evening from East Valley Ranch! Things have kicked off in a great way for the start of session 2. Our WIT (Wrangler-in-Training) campers and 4-week campers are still here and were more than welcoming to our newest 2-week campers. Sunday evening after the rain finally called it quits, we had our opening campfire featuring camper talents, yurt-made skits, and campfire classics like Rattlin’ Bog and Wishy Washy Washer Woman. Monday, a day forecasted for all day showers/storms, did not rain at all besides a light sprinkle at the tail end of evening program.
