Good Evening from East Valley Ranch! Things have been going well in the valley this week. Yesterday our campers all learned about different horse breeds from around the world, what they are used for, and what makes them unique. They also all spent another lesson working with their newly assigned horses. Each lesson with their horse bonds the campers and their four legged companions stronger. After some lessons working hard in the hot sun, we had a horse washing party, expressing our gratitude for our horses that continue to work hard for us each day. Good Evening from East Valley Ranch! Campers have gotten off to a strong start this session refreshing the brains of returning campers and welcoming the new ones in with open arms. Yesterday after campers arrived they had first day orientation learning the ins and outs of EVR. In the evening we had our opening campfire where many talents were shared as well as silly skits and songs. This morning, all of our campers learned how we groom, tack, tie, and lead our horses here at Frost Valley. Good Evening from East Valley Ranch! Since you’ve last read about our adventures, we’ve had many more in the valley.  Sunday was our theme day of the session! Campers awoke to a note being slid under their yurt doors alerting them that not only had someone stole all the horses from the valley, but it was one of our very own counselors that had betrayed the camp and helped the horse thieves!
