“Feeling Goods” are activities scheduled for our campers that are a little different to the normal scheduled classes. The groups usually comprise of one or two cabins worth of campers, purposely small so that the groups get to bond and can make friendships outside of their immediate cabin group. Feeling Goods are often sensory based or extra creative and the vibe is usually pretty chill.  Some examples of Feeling Goods are candle making, relaxation and meditation, yoga, zumba and on today’s schedule for two Outpost cabins was Messy Kickball! A theme day—or maybe it’s a theme morning—for Outpost today. I saw Outpost cabin groups all around the lower fields, and especially around Reflection Pond, this morning. They were carrying styrofoam noodles, frisbees, and dodge balls and they were wearing brightly colored clothing. I couldn’t quite figure out how the contest worked, nor the rules of the game–although the Outpost campers and counselors told me all about it. I wasn’t paying close attention, I’ll admit. The weather was on our side tonight and we finally got to play USB (Ultimate-Sicko-Ball) one of the most famous and beloved games here at Frost Valley. All of Wawayanda (minus Pokeytotem who are on their overnight) divided into four teams of black, white, green and red. Straight after dinner we descended to Big Tree Field and with the lead from Outpost counselors, the whistle blew and it was game on! The idea is that each team has a section which is their safe zone.
