The Frost Valley Educational Farm is usually home to our farm campers this time of year, but due to the pandemic, all of our overnight camp programs have been cancelled. However, that doesn’t stop our crops from growing and our farmers from farming – safely of course! Throughout the summer we have been donating much of our bounty to the United Methodist Food Pantry in Ellenville, NY and recently, we were able to participate in another way to serve our community. As you may have heard, Frost Valley YMCA has made the decision to cancel summer camp programs for 2020. You can read more about the details of that decision in this letter from our CEO. It’s hard to believe that today is the last full day of camp for session 4. The second week of session 4 was packed full of new specialty options, fun evening programs, and visits to East Valley Ranch. In addition to barn and garden specialties we also had baking, needle felting, improv,  mural creations, mindfulness, and a dance class. All of the campers have been really interested in learning more about their perspective programs! We have had an active week of evening programs.
