Dave King was the physical embodiment of Frost Valley Magic. Described as the “Heartbeat of Camp,” and “larger than life in many ways,” his love of the Valley runs deep as one of Frost Valley’s founding leadership staff.

Many of Frost Valley’s time-honored traditions began with Dave, and his leadership will be remembered by both campers and staff. Dave’s commitment to Frost Valley spanned nearly 70 years – as a village chief, Camp Director, Trustee, and his most important role – friend and mentor to thousands of individuals.

Donations made in Dave’s memory will help keep Frost Valley a place for all children to grow, learn, and make life-long memories.
