Does my whole troop have to come or can a child come on his/her own?

Campers must be accompanied by a troop leader or adult. If a weekend already has at least 12 participants, a single camper and adult may join the program.

Do you have cell service and wireless internet at East Valley Ranch?

We do not have cell service at East Valley Ranch. The closest service is about 20 minutes from the facility. We do have limited wireless in the dining hall to give guests the opportunity to check email and Facebook.

What if our troop would like to do some activities on their own?

We send out the schedule for each weekend several weeks in advance. If your troop would like to opt out of an activity we ask that you just let us know.  We are happy to have you enjoy activities on your own. If you would like suggestions of activities available for your girls to do independently, please ask.

How do Scout programs at East Valley ranch differ from those at main camp?

At East Valley Ranch, the facility is much smaller. Our schedule is customized to the number of campers and troops at the site. Each group of campers and adults will receive their own schedule that lets them know where to be each period for their next activity.

Do you have medical coverage at East Valley Ranch?

We do not have medical coverage at East Valley Ranch. We are approximately 30 minutes from the nearest hospital, which is where guests are referred in case of injury or illness.

Do you offer transportation to East Valley Ranch?

We are willing to help any troop coordinate bussing or other forms of transportation. For assistance with this, please contact us.
