Activities Staff
Activities Staff will assist the Directors in the planning, participating, and implementing of summer camp daily activities with day camp and overnight campers. Our Activities Team is an essential part of assisting with check-in and check-out, assisting with luggage and meal time. Applicant must work well with a team of others and be able to work long hours including nights and weekends. Applicant must be 18+ years of age by the start of employment. Salary: $475 to $495 weekly + housing and board.
Junior Counselor
Junior Counselors will supervise and care for campers in loco parents, overseeing children’s day-to-day needs and providing safe, fun entertainment and wholesome activities. Junior Counselors will never be alone with campers. Applicant must be a strong leader, work well with a team of others, and be able to work long hours including nights and weekends. Applicant must be 17+ years of age by the start of employment. Salary: $400 weekly + housing and board.
Leadership Staff
Leadership Staff will assist Directors in the day-to-day programming and management of staff, from making and maintaining schedules to solving staff problems and maintaining staff morale. Applicant must possess strong leadership skills and be able to work long hours including nights and weekends. Salary: $575 to $720 weekly + housing and board.
Senior Counselor
Senior Counselors will supervise and care for campers in loco parents, overseeing children’s day-to-day needs and providing safe, fun entertainment and wholesome activities. Applicant must be a strong leader, work well with a team of others, and be able to work long hours including nights and weekends. Applicant must be 18+ years of age by the start of employment. Salary: $500 to $520 weekly + housing and board.
Wellness Center Staff
Positions include the following. Salary dependent upon position.
- Nurse: Provide health care for all campers and staff at Frost Valley YMCA, administer medications, and communicate with camper guardians.
- Nurse Practitioner: Provide health care for all campers and staff at Frost Valley YMCA, administer medications, and communicate with camper guardians.
- EMT: Provide health care for all campers and staff at Frost Valley YMCA, work on-call shifts, and communicate with camper guardians.
- Wellness Coordinator: Ensure a safe and efficient work environment in the Wellness Center and perform secretarial duties as appointed by the Director of Nursing Services.
- MESH Specialist: Mental Emotional Social Health Specialist. Experience or education in psychology, counseling, or social work is required for this role.
- Nurse’s Aid: Assist with administrative work in the health center, support with medical care, and maintain the Wellness Center facility.
- Driver: Support our camp programs by driving on and off camp property. Must have a clean, valid American driver’s license for 3 years and be 21+ years old.
