CHA Clinic at East Valley Ranch
Get Certified with the Certified Horsemanship Association!
Join us for a Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA) Clinic at East Valley Ranch. Become a CHA-certified riding instructor in English and/or Western disciplines. Four levels of certification can be achieved in the clinic, with the potential of being recommended as an Assistant Clinic Instructor.
Participants will be evaluated by certified CHA clinicians throughout the five-day clinic. The clinic will involve teaching at least four practice lessons, a riding evaluation, a written test, and participation in workshops on risk management, teaching techniques, professionalism, and herd management. Candidates will take turns teaching lessons and riding in lessons, role-playing as students. Expect full days with lots of outdoor activity! Your certification level will be at the sole discretion of the clinic staff, and certification is not guaranteed.
