Winter Exploration Explore the wonders of winter while hiking our trails, examining animal tracks and habitats, and learning outdoor preparedness skills. ACTIVITIES OFFERED: Observatory, Night Hike, Teambuilding, Low Ropes, Wildlife Ecology, Winter Survival Skills, Tracking Hike, Mystery Room Our Main Camp offers availability for up to 650 guests, easily accommodating large councils yet also providing a personalized experience for individual troops. In addition to the activities planned specifically for scouts, you will have access to our camp favorites like climbing, archery, arts & crafts, and more. $175 per person includes programs, lodging, and meals. Adventures in Camping for Scouts Develop camping skills such as knot tying, fire building, ropes activities, and campfire cooking, as well as learning about wildlife during both day and night hikes. Winter weekends may include cross-country skiing and other snow activities, weather permitting. East Valley Ranch, just 14 miles from Main Camp, offers both a bed-and-breakfast style lodge that sleeps up to 35 guests, as well as Mongolian yurts that sleep an additional 60 guests. LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA Weekends Frost Valley YMCA is proud to be the first camp to join the LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA movement. We provide retreats for cancer survivors and their families to help build a firm path to wellness in spirit, mind, and body. These weekends allow survivors a chance to connect with others who have shared a similar journey and to reconnect with friends and family in a spectacular, natural setting.
