Frost Valley YMCA is honored to host the International Camp Directors Conference on October 10, 2016. The conference will bring together YMCA camp directors and leaders in over 25 countries, from Latin America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East, all working to deepen global YMCA camp collaboration.
The goals of this conference are to expand global camp exchanges and partnerships, strengthen international YMCA camp leadership, programs and sustainability strategies, and to increase the philanthropic support for camps around the world. The conference will also feature a Silent Auction with items reflecting the origins and cultures of the YMCA camps in attendance. The auction is organized by World Service, a campaign that raises support for YMCA camps, worldwide.
Over the three-days, YMCA leaders will focus on everything from camp leadership development and global camper exchanges, to camp marketing and business planning and safety and risk management.
