Frost Valley YMCA is Looking for Local Families to Host Children From Tokyo

Frost Valley YMCA, in partnership with Tokyo YMCA, is offering local families an opportunity to host children from Tokyo for a weekend of cultural immersion through its Homestay Program. Families are asked to host two or three children between the ages of 8-15 from July 28-29, 2018. Pick up and drop off will take place at Frost Valley’s main camp located at 2000 Frost Valley Road in Claryville.

The goal of the Tokyo-Frost Valley Homestay Program is to give children from Japan the opportunity to experience life in an American household. Host families will receive details about the children who will be staying with them prior to their arrival. Frost Valley is offering host families a stipend of $30 per child to help cover food expenses.
