Geronimo!

Our AdVillians (people who live in Adventure Village) had a wonderful night last night, they got to play Killer in the Castle with the Adventure CIT’s.  It is a murder mystery/Clue type game played in the dark of our castle built in 1916.

Today was filled with more exciting activities and lots of sunshine!  Some brave souls took a ride on the giant swing, while others learned to rappel off of our Y-tower!  Then in the afternoon the whole village joined forces with Mini-MAC village (our youngest group of youth with developmental disabilities) to play an epic game of Geronimo with Al Filreis!

Today at dinner the campers were buzzing with excitement for our upcoming game of French Revolution.  Everyone was exchanging stories from summers before as well as making up new and better strategies for tonight’s game.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Zach eigenbrodt

Born and raised in Wisconsin, Zach couldn't keep himself out of the woods when growing up. He started working at a Northern Wisconsin YMCA Camp as a wilderness trip leader while in college and fell in love with getting kids into nature. The smiles on kids faces after returning from a once in a life time wilderness experience is why he is here today. Zach brought his talents to Frost Valley YMCA, in 2014, when he started as the Trips Coordinator and soon was promoted to Adventure Director. Zach loves all forms of Wilderness exploration, though some would say his heart lies most with canoeing.
