Getting into the Groove

Good Evening from East Valley Ranch! Campers have gotten off to a strong start this session refreshing the brains of returning campers and welcoming the new ones in with open arms. Yesterday after campers arrived they had first day orientation learning the ins and outs of EVR. In the evening we had our opening campfire where many talents were shared as well as silly skits and songs.

This morning, all of our campers learned how we groom, tack, tie, and lead our horses here at Frost Valley. They also got their eval ride done and out of the way, horse assignments will follow tomorrow morning. This afternoon, everyone enjoyed cooling off in the creek, a favorite past time of Frost Valley campers. Campers also finally got to play tetherball and gaga until their heart was content after passing the area many times during the day. This evening campers played a strong game of paper bag skits where campers got more comfortable working with one another while also exercising their creativity.

Come back later this week for more updates from the valley,

Be well and Build Strong.
