Kristin Bergstrom, NY State Licensed Massage Therapist

Practicing Massage Therapy for over 15 years – therapeutic Massage for a sense of well-being using Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial, Ayurvedic, Energy Work, and Hot Stone Techniques to relax, renew, and release restrictions in the body for relaxation, health, and balance. Kristin will be providing private sessions by appointment. Debbie Birch

Debbie Birch is a certified Hatha Yoga Instructor, ACE Certified Personal Trainer, and Lifestyle & Weight Management Consultant. She began her career in health and fitness when she received her Pilates training at North Carolina School of the Arts while studying to be a professional dancer.  She went to New York City where she performed in several Broadway Musicals and National Tours.  At the same time, she taught an array of fitness classes at Broadway Dance and Manhattan Plaza Health Club.  She also served as a personal trainer to many performers and celebrities. Debbie was the Activities Director, instructor and personal trainer at New Age Health Spa before developing Catskill Organic, a company dedicated to developing healthy alternatives to aging gracefully and maintaining a youthful appearance using organic plant-based products. Currently, Debbie is the Director and Certified Personal Trainer of the Wellness Center at Ellenville Regional Hospital. Priscilla Bright, MA

Priscilla Bright, MA, lead facilitator of Women’s Wellness Weekend, is on the faculty of the Omega Institute & the NY Open Center.  She completed the Positive Neuroplasticity Training Professional Course with Dr. Rick Hanson in Ireland and is the Former School Dean of the renowned international Barbara Brennan School of Healing where she worked training healers from over 40 countries.  Her private energy healing practice is in NYC and online, and she runs her workshops in NYC and the Hudson Valley and online, teaching skills for profound inner healing and stress reduction for women and for all people with empathetic sensitive natures, as well as healers from all health professions. priscilla@priscillabright.com  845-417-8261 (phone or text)

 

Ellenora Cage

Alice Camara, L.Ac

Alice has been a practicing acupuncturist for 30 years. She is nationally certified (NCCAOM) and is licensed in NY state. Alice incorporates foot reflexology, organ massage, and structural acupressure into her treatments. Alice has been initiated in the Second Degree of Reiki healing and will be offering acupuncture treatments throughout the weekend.

 

Kathryn Costa

Kathryn Costa is an artist, writer and educator whose passion can be summed up in three little words, “create and connect.” Kathryn’s workshops help people to find clarity, let go of fear, embrace their dreams and explore their creativity. Dorian D’Ausilio

Dorian loves to dance. She has been teaching Zumba since 2009. She brings excitement and fun to her classes where everyone is welcome. She believes there are no wrong steps and the goal is to enjoy moving to the music. She works at IBM as a client experience strategist, and she shows new inventions at events around the world. She is a trained musician with a Bachelors degree in Film Scoring from Berklee School of Music and a Masters degree in Communications from Manhattanville College. She also studied audio engineering and musicianship, and vocal training in NYC. Her children’s recording, “Lullaby’s for Starry Nights” was released nationally on the Baby Boom label and she wrote and sang music for popular television shows in her early career.

 

Priscilla DeConti, CZT, RN

Priscilla DeConti, CZT, and retired RN, has created a new life with her art and learning new ways of being creative.  She began Zentangle on her own and went for training in June of last year.  Now she enjoys the practice of Zentangle and other creative arts and also enjoys sharing this with others.

 

Bobbi Esmark

Bobbi Esmark has been practicing tai chi and qigong for nearly 25 years. She teaches in the mid-Hudson Valley in Stone Ridge, NY and at the Mohonk Preserve. Lana M Gokey, BS, LMT; CST

Faith Green

Faith Green was a special education teacher for nearly 40 years. Now she’s retired and enjoys travel and writing. She has been a SoulCollage facilitator since 2015. Faith participated in a facilitator training in Tuscania, Italy where she learned new ways to use writing with SoulCollage.

 

Myra Howard, LMT

Myra Howard is the owner of Chi Moshi Massage Studio in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. She graduated from the Swedish Institute and received her license as a New York State Massage Therapist in 2002, with additional certifications in Myofacial Release and Pre/Postnatal Massage. Myra is also a Certified Lactation Counselor. Chi Moshi is a community-based practice offering comprehensive therapeutic treatments to help relieve pain, stiffness and stressed areas caused by injury. Terry James

Terry is excited to introduce glass etching to Women’s Wellness Weekend.  She has run several different arts and crafts programs for Frost Valley for the past 15 years through both Day Camp and the School’s Out Programs.  She loves creating things with both children and adults.  Terry has attended Women’s Wellness Weekend for 6 years now, and is always looking for a ways to give back to this fantastic community.

Rifka Kreiter

Rifka is a teacher/facilitator with over 40 years of experience in a wide range of meditation techniques and practices, including mindfulness, Transcendental Meditation, Tibetan Buddhist meditation, and Western syntheses like the est Training.   (I also hold an M.A. in Clinical Psychology. )  She has led sessions at Women’s Wellness Weekend for more than 10 years now where meditations in the beautiful Castle Living Room are always especially rich.  Check out stories from her memoir, Home Free: Adventures of a Child of the Sixties on her blog: rifkakreiter.comCome meditate!

 

Kate Lynch

Kate Lynch has been teaching yoga professionally since 2002. She offers a flowing, gentle, safe and accessible practice, to beginners and beyond, usually at the Y in Brooklyn, NY. Her intention is to encourage each practitioner’s self-awareness and inner peace by teaching in a breath-centered, mindful way. Kate’s classes have been called creative, intuitive, welcoming, friendly and fun.

Cheryl McKereghan

Ashley Minard

Ashley Minard is the founder of Hoop For A Better Tomorrow, a certified hula hoop instructor, and has been hula hooping and teaching for over 10 years. Living in Northern Dutchess County, NY, she offers local weekly adult hula hoop classes and will travel to teach private lessons, workshops & activities at your next event or adult birthday party and also hand makes hula hoops for all ages. Lisa Montanus

Lisa Montanus began her journey into sound healing in 2011, when she became a student at the Center of Light Institute of Sound Healing and Shamanic Studies in Vermont.  She was drawn to sound after personally experiencing its power to heal. Lisa has studied with several renowned teachers and has developed her own unique practice, using voice, Himalayan and crystal bowls, and drums, among other tools. Samantha Paige-Graeber

Samantha Paige-Graeber is a widely educated, multi-talented healer. She is an NYS Licensed Massage Therapist with 30 years of experience, who uses her active continuing education in massage, yoga, energy work, and bodywork to create a healing experience that is unique to each individual and session. Her large toolbox of information and experience allows her to understand the client’s physical and energy needs, and respond to them with astute insight.  She offers a full range of techniques that span from deep tissue work for a backache to gentle hands-on energy work for assorted ailments and can include such approaches as hot stones for sinus headaches, the use of trigger points, and neck and leg manipulation.  Combining these varied approaches, Samantha consistently addresses the unique needs of her clients in a kind and deeply caring way. Eva Price

Claudia Ross, LMT

Claudia Ross is the Owner/Operator of Claudia’s Day Spa, New Paltz, NY. She has been studying and practicing the art and science of massage since the mid 70’s. Alison Ryczek

Alison has been practicing pottery for 15 years. She uses ceramics methods such as hand building and slab work, but her main focus is on traditional wheel thrown pottery. She loves to create pottery that is not only functional but also a piece of art. Alison works out of her home studio which is local to Frost Valley. Dr. Judith Schafman, Ph.D.

Judith Schafman, Ph. D. is a Gestalt therapist, artist, dream work guide, teacher and spiritual director offering medicines for the heart and soul, including dream work, imaginative self-expression, connecting deeply with nature through art, and self-contemplation. The foundation of her work is that all individuals have at their core great wisdom and creativity, and can discover and live from this sacred power within.

Jude received her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of New Hampshire, and a Ph. D. from Union Graduate School, a nontraditional degree program without walls based in Cincinnati, Ohio. She received certification in classical spiritual direction from Shalem, Institute for Spiritual Formation in Washington DC, and attending the Gestalt Training Centers in San Diego and in Washington, DC. Her work is deeply saturated by a 15-year stay in a meditation retreat site, where she offered service and did regular spiritual practices. She is the author of an online course called Embracing your Inner Wisdom: A Home Study Classroom in Dream Work, and articles on dream life, including how to begin your dream practice, the dark side of personality in dreams, dreaming in the heavenly realms, and how to apply dream lessons to daily life.

Sharon Suess

Sharon has been teaching this watercolor class since the inception of WWW. She was formerly the graphic designer for Frost Valley before she retired in 2008. She still does freelance design, and now has more time for painting, drawing and other creative endeavors.

 

Aviva Skye Tilson

Aviva Skye Tilson is a farmer, community herbalist, and skincare maker who owns Apis Apotheca, a farm-to-face herbal skincare company.  She also helps operate Kaaterskill Herb Exchange in Woodstock NY, an herb shop that specializes in sourcing high potency locally grown medicinal herbs, both fresh in season and dried year round.
