A Great Start to Session 4!
We’ve had an exciting first few days in Adventure Village! We learned how to safely build fires, we’ve played some great games, and of course we are making lots of new friends. On Wednesday, we went on day-hikes. One group went to the beautiful Giant Ledge, one group hiked to the Frost Valley Educational Farm, and the oldest campers hiked Doubletop mountain which does not have a trail and so requires the use of a map and compass to get to the top! Tomorrow we will be in our mini-trip groups and start preparing for the trip. This includes packing out our gear and food, doing team-building activities, and setting group expectations for the trip. Everyone is excited to start this new experience!
