Adirondack Ramblers!
Due to some shaky cell service, our Rambler update is short tonight, but parents can rest assured that all campers are safe and healthy and having a good time so far!
Our ramblers LOVED white water rafting yesterday. Their guides were awesome and hitting the swells was a total blast for the group. The group as a whole is energetic and fun-loving and excited about trying everything. Today they embarked on their canoeing journey, which has gone great so far. After picking up gear from an outfitter and shuffling some vehicles around the group hit Rollins Pond and traveled north through the lake. They will be canoeing until Friday and then switch over to hiking from there.
Our next update will be on Sunday evening – write to you all then!!

Born and raised in Wisconsin, Zach couldn't keep himself out of the woods when growing up. He started working at a Northern Wisconsin YMCA Camp as a wilderness trip leader while in college and fell in love with getting kids into nature. The smiles on kids faces after returning from a once in a life time wilderness experience is why he is here today. Zach brought his talents to Frost Valley YMCA, in 2014, when he started as the Trips Coordinator and soon was promoted to Adventure Director. Zach loves all forms of Wilderness exploration, though some would say his heart lies most with canoeing.
