Better know your Hird! Part 4?

I am trying to get to all the staff mini bio’s as quickly as they are flooding in! So here are three people working in the Hird this summer!

Kirsten W. will be working in our MAC Girls program! I’ve had the privilege of working alongside of her of the past few years as well as seeing her grow up through our CiT program!

“I’m a theater Major at UMASS – Amherst. This is my 10th summer at FV & my 4th year working in MAC (including CiT summer)! I’m so excited to see old campers/friends and to meet many new ones!

Alexa T. will be working in Sacky Village (Girls going into the 8th grade) this summer!

“I am going to be a sophomore in college in the fall at Seton Hall University. I am studying to be a speech-language pathologist. This is my 10th and sadly last year at Frost Valley; for no, at least. I am so excited for this summer and for all the new experiences to come.

Jessica P. will be working as a Windsong Counselor (Second summer in this role) but will be taking on the Village Chief of Sunburst this upcoming summer!

“Jessica P. just completed her second year at the school of the Art Institute of Chicago and is so pumped for her 10th summer at Frost Valley!”

Morgan Theze

Born in New York but raised in Ireland, Morgan has spent every summer he can remember flying back to the US to attend summer camps. Over the years that Morgan worked at a well-regarded private camp in Maine, he took on many roles including Cabin Counselor, Head of Rocks and Ropes, Program Director, and Operations Director. Morgan began working at Frost Valley as a program instructor in 2014, leading activities for our schools and weekend programs, before becoming our Director of Camp Henry Hird. Campers at Camp Henry Hird range in age from 13 to 16. Morgan loves working with this age group as he finds that this is the time of their life where they form into unique individuals and discover the values that they will hold with them for the rest of their lives.
