Surf n’ Skate

It has been a hectic time and the updates have not been flowing as often as I had hoped, but rest assured the crew is doing well.  I have spoken with Kevin and they are surrounded by tall pines, mountain lakes and skate ramps everywhere you turn.  They are also without Internet, so pictures and stories direct from them will have to wait a few days.

I can tell you that the kids are dropping in the ramps, picking up the ollies and gaining some all around skills.  They head back down soon to spend a day at Disneyland, so hopefully the hotel will have some internet and Kevin will be able to upload some pictures.

Until then, rest assured, they are doing well.

Zach eigenbrodt

Born and raised in Wisconsin, Zach couldn't keep himself out of the woods when growing up. He started working at a Northern Wisconsin YMCA Camp as a wilderness trip leader while in college and fell in love with getting kids into nature. The smiles on kids faces after returning from a once in a life time wilderness experience is why he is here today. Zach brought his talents to Frost Valley YMCA, in 2014, when he started as the Trips Coordinator and soon was promoted to Adventure Director. Zach loves all forms of Wilderness exploration, though some would say his heart lies most with canoeing.
