Danielia Barron began working at Frost Valley YMCA in September 2017 as the Group and Family Retreats Director. Danielia heard wonderful things about Frost Valley and wanted to be a part of this unique facet of the Y movement. One of her first experiences at Frost Valley was facilitating a Girl Scout program and it really stood out for her. She enjoyed seeing the girls courageously step out of their comfort zones, meet new people, and share their experiences with one another. It was a prime example of what children are able to accomplish at Frost Valley and it validated her decision to move across the country to work at this special place. Danielia believes that Frost Valley is a gathering place, giving guests the opportunity to be themselves. “No matter who you are, what stage of life you are in or what your interests are, Frost Valley has something to offer you,” she says. She enjoys being able to play a part in that by welcoming everyone, eliminating distractions for them, and overall, providing a positive atmosphere and the opportunity to experience wonderment.
