Evaluation Day at EVR!
We have had a busy first few days over here at EVR… Opening Sunday (although rainy) was tons of fun. We ate BBQ dinner of burgers with all the fixings and then had homemade cookies for desert :)! We then finished the day with OPENING CAMPFIRE!! We sang songs, shared our goals for the session and shared some talents too. And of course, no opening campfire would be complete without S’Mores!!
Monday was EVALUATION DAY, where the girls get to show us their skills on horseback… I have to say it was probably the best eval day that we have had at EVR, lots of girls looking really great on their horses. See smugmug.com for the latest pictures. After evaluation rides, we played a game called GERONIMO! An EVR favorite.
Last night’s evening program was Paper Bag Skits, where the girls get a bag of random items and they have to make a skit from those items in 15 minutes. There are always some pretty hilarious outcomes.
Today was the first full day of regular schedule! The girls found out who their horse was going to be for the whole time that they are here and then they spend the day, riding, learning about breeds, colors and markings, and going to waterfront. Tonight’s evening program is a game called CAMOUFLAGE. See smugmug soon for the pictures of the girls.
