Horse Day Camp: Murals, Bareback and tie dye!

Western Adventures:

Monday: The campers enjoyed painting a mural in the model forest classroom, which will make a great addition to our barn!

Tuesday:  Sam came to visit today, so the campers got to learn more about muscles and the different groups. They all seem to really enjoy this and it’s educational which is great!! They also got to do practice  fortheir drill team and had normal lessons! Their riding is coming along so well, all of the staff are really impressed!

Hoofbeats:

Monday: The campers got to try out bareback riding, which gave them an opportunity to see what the horses muscles feel like and to practice their balance, as it is quite tricky!! They also got to use our Y tower to climb, which they all thought was great!!

Tuesday: Lessons were back to normal with a saddle today, and their riding is going great, they improve every single lesson which is epic to watch! The favorite activity of the day was the tie dye ice cream party, which the children got to tie dye an item of clothing but also got to make home made ice cream which turned out so well and tasted delicious!!
