The last two days have been full of instruction and adventure.  Our young survivors learned how to start fires, purify their water, river crossings, orienteering, shelter building, cooking, hiking, rappelling, teamwork, and stepping into leadership roles.   All of this has led them up to their “survival overnight”   They will be hiking a few miles (off trail) to set up an overnight improvised campsite…   tomorrow they continue their journey to High Falls….   They then have an opportunity to rappel next to the falls.   They are prepared and ready to do…   The weather has decided to throw a wrench at them.    This doesn’t stop our program.   On we go.
