Only 199 days until the first day of Adventure Village and Trips 2008! I just wanted to let everyone know that I will be updating this site with equipment lists, staff profiles, and other useful tidbits as we prepare for another amazing season based here at Frost Valley YMCA. Please feel free to shoot me a note if you want to see something new or post a comment about things that pop up. As always, Frost Valley Adventures is here to help, whatever your needs are. Whether you are a first-timer looking for an idea of what trips would be best for you or a grizzled veteran hoping for a peek of your destination, no question is too great or too small.

There are already people registered and ready to go for 2008, so don’t wait too long to sign up for the experience of a lifetime. Our website, www.FrostValley.org , has been updated and brochures should be on the way if not in your hands already. We are also happy to have online registration that will enable you to create your own account, make and monitor payments, and receive important updates related to your program.

Have a safe and happy holiday season. I look forward to working with you to create an experience beyond comparison. Check back here for opportunities to extend your adventures into the rest of the year as well. We already have a trip planned for Spring Break 2008 to New Orleans as they continue to rebuild their lives and homes with Habitat for Humanity.

Venturing on,

Kevin & the Adventure Team

About the Author

Zach eigenbrodt

Born and raised in Wisconsin, Zach couldn't keep himself out of the woods when growing up. He started working at a Northern Wisconsin YMCA Camp as a wilderness trip leader while in college and fell in love with getting kids into nature. The smiles on kids faces after returning from a once in a life time wilderness experience is why he is here today. Zach brought his talents to Frost Valley YMCA, in 2014, when he started as the Trips Coordinator and soon was promoted to Adventure Director. Zach loves all forms of Wilderness exploration, though some would say his heart lies most with canoeing.
