As the Director of Camp Henry Hird it is my privilege to be able to walk around camp an interact with staff and campers. This morning as I journeyed through camp I ran into Sacky village playing a game called Geranimo with one of our amazing Alumni! I watched Hemlock village depart for a hike to High falls,a beautiful waterfall located in a secluded area of our camp a wonderful place to cool down when its hot out. Across Filreis field I could hear Tacoma rocking out at the old A&C centre with Brendan our Rock Band Coordinator all the while giving helpful advise to PAC & Windsong whom were preparing for a big hike out to their overnight locations at Smith Lodge. The growth and interactions I see here on camp reflect that of the beginnings of an amazing lifelong experience and makes me look forward to a summer filled with the magic that is Frost Valley!
