Our village chiefs (almost all of them!) are pictured sitting in a marooned row boat, just before Al Filreis began one of his classic campfire songs “There’s a hole in the bottom of the lake.” This is just one example of the wacky, fun, and exciting skits that occur at the Wawa Opening Campfire. It is not just a time for introducing the staff to the campers, but also a time to show the comedy, fun, and creativity we are promoting at camp. Don’t worry, there was a lifeguard present for all boating related skits!
