We host one-day outing retreats or on-site workshops in a range of affordable options.
Test your bulls-eye skills by using a bow and arrow. Our trained staff take you through the steps to become an expert archer. We even have an indoor range, making this camp tradition available all year long.

Your creative side opens up with a variety of activities here at Frost Valley. Our instructors will help you make crafts including candles, decoupage, tie-dye, upcycled crafts, and many seasonal projects. (additional fees may apply)

(Spring & Fall Only) During the warmer fall and spring months, guests can go out in a rowboat or canoe on Frost Valley’s Lake Cole.

(Winter Only) Grab your group or family and create a team to compete in one of the oldest games here at Frost Valley. Participants use brooms to play a version of hockey on Reflection Pond.

All challenge course elements require wearing a helmet and harness to ascend up high. Most have an age minimum. Guests who are uncomfortable with heights can participate in other ways, such as functioning as part of the belay or ladder team. Options may be limited by availability.

- Caterpillar: The Caterpillar is a traversal element that features 4 horizontal wooden beams for participants to navigate across while using the cables and hand ropes for support. Ages 10 and up.
- NEW: Crate Stacking: Crate Stacking is located at the Y-Tower. See how high you can go as you build your own leaning tower, and have your friends pass the crates up to you. Ages 10 and up.
- Climbing: The climbing walls at Frost Valley are suitable for all ages. We have 2 climbing walls, an outdoor wall at our Y-Tower and an indoor wall in Margetts. The climbing walls have different routes that range from less to more challenging.
- Flying Squirrel/Fish: The Flying Squirrel and Flying Fish are the same element. Both are great for younger children or guests who are not comfortable with heights. A pull team of at least 4 people is clipped into one end of the rope, and a Flyer is clipped into the other. The Flyer is pulled into the air as high or as fast as they would like to go and then lowered to the ground. These elements are suitable for all ages.
- Giant Ladder: The Giant Ladder is similar to the Vertical Playpen, only the climbing obstacle is different. At this element, participants climb a giant ladder. This element works best as a partner climb, meaning 2 people will be climbing at the same time. Ages 10 and up.
- Glider: The Glider is a giant swing where participants are pulled into the air by a pull team and released from the pull rope at the height they select. Participants swing on permanently attached steel cables and must be able to climb a ladder to be clipped into the element. Ages 10 and up.
- Leap of Faith: Participants climb to a platform, jump off, and try to hit a ball suspended in the air. Participants can also step off the platform or sit on the platform and slide off. Ages 12 and up.
- Vertical Playpen: The Vertical Playpen is similar to the climbing wall, but instead of a rock wall, you are climbing an obstacle course. The element starts with a rope ladder and moves to climbing on boards and ropes, and finishes with tires at the top of the element. This element can have either 1 or 2 climbers climbing at a time. Ages 10 and up.
- Zipline: Participants can zip with a partner from our dual zipline located at the Y-Tower. The ziplines feature a gravity brake. Participants must be able to climb a ladder to exit the zipline. Ages 12 and up.
