Habitat Adirondacks Checkin’-in!
Hey Everyone At Home!
Just heard from our Habitat Adirondack crew and everything is going well. After day two at the work site, the group has helped frame windows, cleaned/reorganized a garage, completed LOTS of spackling, cut sheet rock, and helped with some general yard clean up.
The group is forming well, and campsite activity favorites include card games, reading and four square. Apparently, a large majority of the group really enjoys reading books and has even requested a trip to the bookstore in town on their free day! Campers are responding well to each other and making some great connections with other campers and the worksite supervisors.
Everyone is getting excited about rafting tomorrow and was happy to see some rain today in anticipation of the activity. Other than that, the weather has been pretty great so far.
That’s all for now folks. Next check-in is scheduled for Sunday evening. Write to y’all then!

He started working at a Northern Wisconsin YMCA Camp as a wilderness trip leader while in college and fell in love with getting kids into nature. Zach loves all forms of Wilderness exploration, though some would say his heart lies most with canoeing.
