Hird Closing Campfire

We wrapped up a great session tonight with the traditional all-Hird closing campfire ceremony. After dinner, the Hird met on Big Tree Field so that their counselors could send them off with memorable performances. The acts ranged from an interpretive dance from the Lenape staff to a remixed Rihanna song by the Sacky staff. Our oldest campers in Pac and Windsong got the chance to perform their own skits: each member of Pac packed their communal bag with a token from the session and Windsong belted the sweet sounds of Miley Cyrus’ “The Climb.” It’s been an amazing two weeks and we can’t wait to see everyone again soon!
