Hird Picnic

The 13-15 year olds made history today while they enjoyed the first ever Hird Picnic Music Festival Extravaganza! Instead of lunch in the dining hall, all of the Hird chowed down (sandwiches on ciabatta rolls, cookies, juice, chips, pasta salad, and apples) on the sunny hardcourts. While some of our campers participated in frisbee, basketball, and ga-ga, others chatted with friends, listened to music, or lounged in the shade. After lunch, the Hird sat and cheered on their peers and counselors as they performed songs, comedy routines, and dances! Here are some pictures from the day! It was certainly a memorable one!
