Hello Friends and Family!

What a fun filled weekend we have had. On Saturday, we had bareback day. The girls got to try riding with no saddle, and also did wacky water Saturday in the afternoon. We brought out our slip ‘n’ slide and played water games. The girls had a jungle themed dance party in the evening, where they learned new line dances dressed as tigers and zebras and monkeys.

Yesterday was our COACHELLA theme day! We woke up later than usual, had brunch, and got hyped up on waffles and ice cream to begin our day!  A majority of the girls performed a song at our Coachella themed concert,  and we loved sitting dressed as festival-goers listening to them! Everyone was covered in glitter and face paint! In the afternoon, we started our activity rotations. We tie dyed, we did shelter building, we made dream catchers and flower crowns. For our Evening Program, we played Ladderball in the rain! Ladderball is a running game, where there is a ladder at each side of the field with a bucket on top, and along the middle of the field are lots and lots of balls. The girls are split into two teams and can only run when they do not have a ball in their hand. The aim of the game is to hit as many buckets over as they can using the balls as they can! The team with the most points win!

Today we have ad to change our schedule to a rainy day schedule, but that doesn’t mean we are not going to still have fun! Today the girls are in the barn learning about horse movement, and also in arts and crafts making candles. They are also going to try out our new bouldering wall in the basement! Tonight we have a Lip Sync Battle planned!

This is Waffles. He is the biggest horse in our Barn. He is around 18 hands! He may be big, but he is a gentle giant!
