A Sundae full of Treats!
Sunday is always a coveted day of rest, campers get to sleep in until brunch and have a two hour rest hour. This Sunday was particularly sweet, because we made delicious ice cream sundaes as a part of our brunch! After our peaceful two hour rest hour, we played the camp wide game of Popcorn King! In this games, campers have to free the Popcorn King by creating imaginative popcorn flavor combinations. Campers made popcorn which included materials like: maple syrup, cheddar cheese, chocolate and marshmallows. At the end of the game, all the campers got to try these crazy popcorn concoctions, it made a great midday snack! After an exciting afternoon, we wound down our day with a East Valley BBQ. The East Valley Ranch and Farm Camp campers got together for a barbecue at the Farm Camp. Campers from both camps, ate, played and even danced together.
After a fun day of activities, treats and rest, we are reenergized and ready to get to work on our chores tomorrow morning!
