Today Adventure Village went on their biggest adventure yet as they themed their whole day after the animated movie “Up”. In the true spirit of Adventure Village and “Up”, the campers spent the day going on various quests and completing tasks to win their own Wilderness Explorer badges.  They began the day striving to win their “helping the elderly” badges, by helping their elders cross the cable bridge go on a short hike.  They spent their next period finding clues that led to various materials including stoves, pots, and ingredients to cook their own chocolate treats to feed the legendary snipe ‘Kevin’ to bring her back to health, earning their “respecting the wildlife” badges as well as others.  After lunch they spent time with other villages on camp making their own Adventure Scrap Books, doing science experiments with balloons and hiking to “Paradise Falls” (High Falls/Bear Cave).  They ended the day playing a final game, having a show down between the old and new adventurers by the observatory to earn their final “spirit of adventure” badges.

Remember Adventure IS out there…

Happy Trails.
