Adventure Village is in full swing!

What a great day we had in the village today! We have been doing our best to stay cool in this heat, going to waterfront and hanging out in the creek. After our opening campfire on Sunday night, yesterday was spent really getting to know what it means to be in Adventure Village. We spent the day learning some cheers, signing up for our mini-trips and getting to know our tent-mates. Today we went vertical, climbing the Y-Tower, swinging on the Giant Swing, and zipping on the zip line! Tonight we will be playing one of our favorite games, Wells Fargo, a version of capture the flag. Tomorrow we will go out on our day hikes, heading to Doubletop Mountain, Giant’s Ledge, and the Frost Valley Farm!

Russell started his time at Frost Valley as a camper in Forest Village in 2005 and has been here ever since. He was a camper in Adventure Village, Farm Camp, and on Teen Adventure Trips before becoming an AiT and eventually a staff member in Adventure Village. He worked as the Village Coordinator for Adventure Village before working as the Assistant Adventure Director for two summers. He is very excited to be working as Adventure Director for the first time this year.
