After a great Small World Fair and Frost Valley’s Got Talent yesterday, everyone was excited to get back into activities today. I was so envious when I came across 2 of our villages, Tacoma and MAC Boys, doing one of my favorite team building activities, the A-frame. The group has to work together by holding and pulling pieces of rope to move a piece of wood shaped like an A with someone standing on it. In this case, they made it extra difficult by having 3 counselors stand on it!

I also felt really lucky that I got to visit our 2 villages who are currently enjoying their overnights, Sacky and Hemlock. When I got to Sacky’s site, they had already set up all their tarps and sleeping areas and were just leaving to go enjoy one of the cable bridges that crosses a river in the area. By the time I got to Hemlock, it was already dark and everyone had enjoyed their pita pizzas and s’mores. They were running around and enjoying the outdoors with their flashlights! I’m looking forward to seeing them when they get back tomorrow and hearing about all their adventures.
