Farm Camp Gets a Visit from Al Filreis
After of day of fun activities like: painting rocks, learning Scottish folk song and shelling beans. The Farm Camp got a wonderful visit from Al Filreis! Al conducted a Challenge Night for the kids that will be hard to forget. Campers had the opportunity to challenge themselves to different tasks which included, limbo, Frost Valley Trivia and counselor impressions. The event ended with with two sweet bed time treats for the kids. First, ice cream. Second, a brand new Al Filreis story! Before bed, the kids sat all together under the stars at our beautiful fire ring by the pond and Al told them a brand new story that he’s written for this summer! Kids loved hearing Al speak, and even enjoyed being a little spooked by the story.
It was a magical evening. Today we start our last rounds of chores and speciality classes. We cannot believe today is the last full day of Session One!
