Week two has been non-stop here at the farm. Campers have been enjoying a variety of specialties: barn, garden, cooking, archery, cascades exploration, blacksmithing, wool working, Harry Potter improv, and outdoor living skills. The end of the session has crept up on us.
On Monday we enjoyed the eclipse and we got to learn about it from our livestock manager who has her masters degree in astrophysics. All staff and campers were given a pair of certified viewing glasses and we relaxed out on the lawn and watched the eclipse happen.
Other activities this week have included catching newts, making candles. tie-dying shirts, and playing soccer.
