Our adventure trips left early this morning after packing out and all yesterday. They’ve had great fun team-building, getting their gear together and coming up with delicious backcountry menus for their coming days. After handing them their bright orange whistles– a tradition of the Adventure program–we bid them farewell.  This session the campers are heading north for a variety of water activities with our Adirondack Paddlers Trip, down south for some more water with the West Virginia White Water Trip, all the way to Acadia National Park for some Maine Trail Building, getting some sailing lessons with Vermont Voyager, and in our neighboring area of New Paltz to get vertical with our Rocks and Ropes 1 week try-it trip!

Each trip left with big smiles and full buses, reading to face the challenges of 2 weeks away from camp, and the growth opportunities that come with the adventure activities they get to participate in!

We will be checking in with the Trip Leaders to make sure everyone is healthy, happy and whole making our way through session 2, and we couldn’t be more excited for one of the fullest sessions of the summer!
