Hey Farm Camp family members!

Session one is off to a great start. We are not letting the heat get us down. Last night we celebrated the commencement of camp with a big campfire filled with songs and skits. We sang about rare bogs and rare jungle animals! We sat on invisible benches and we heard a story about a wise old man!

For our first official day, everyone chooses their specialties for the week. Specialties happen twice a day and they focus on a specific topic. Campers will participate in two specialties a day, four throughout the session. Some specialties happening this week are barn, garden, archery, nature art, sports, and community service.

Some fun and random things to know about our day:

  1. Today has featured goats getting baths!
  2. At breakfast we enjoyed scrambled eggs thanks to our 300+ hens (as well as other delicious breakfast foods)!

In between all the fun, we are drinking lots and lots of water and wearing loads of sunscreen!

We hope you had a great day too!
