We strive to offer top-notch outdoor education, community-building activities, and fun camp recreational experiences that will keep schools coming back year after year. Frost Valley Outdoor School helps develop more confident, socially responsible, and actively engaged lifelong learners.
To make your trip run as smoothly as possible, please take some time to familiarize yourself with the planning information on this page, in its entirety, as soon as you’ve booked your Outdoor School trip.

We are so excited to welcome your children and students to Frost Valley Outdoor School! Students will spend the majority of their time outside, hiking on trails and exploring the watersheds, forests, plants, and wildlife of the Catskills ecosystems while learning about them first-hand through interdisciplinary activities in science, math, art, and conservation. We feel that learning should be discovery-based, interactive, and perhaps most of all—fun. We hope we are creating an experience that will last a lifetime.
All classes are led by our friendly and knowledgeable Outdoor Instructors who will work hard to learn about each student to curate an unforgettable experience for the group. Our staff all have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent life/camp experience, have passed a background test, have taken child abuse prevention training, and are CPR & First-Aid certified.
