Session 1 Trip Update

Hey Adventure Trip Families!

Vermont Voyager and Habitat Adirondack arrived safe and sound to their campgrounds last night and launched into their activities this morning.

West Virginia was slightly delayed (families – check your email for a full update!) due to a bus problem, but they are on the road again today and should be arriving at ACE Adventure Center in the next few hours (just in time for a mud obstacle course!).

Our trip blog updates will be as follows:

July 6 (Wednesday) evening – each trip will check-in with the adventure office and we will post updates for everyone

July 10 (Sunday) evening – another check-in, followed by a blog post

July 13 (Wednesday) – the last update before everyone heads on home

July 18  (Monday after the session ends) – all pictures will be posted on our smugmug picture sites so families at home can take a look at the adventures!

Zach eigenbrodt

Born and raised in Wisconsin, Zach couldn't keep himself out of the woods when growing up. He started working at a Northern Wisconsin YMCA Camp as a wilderness trip leader while in college and fell in love with getting kids into nature. The smiles on kids faces after returning from a once in a life time wilderness experience is why he is here today. Zach brought his talents to Frost Valley YMCA, in 2014, when he started as the Trips Coordinator and soon was promoted to Adventure Director. Zach loves all forms of Wilderness exploration, though some would say his heart lies most with canoeing.
