Settling In
All of our session 2 campers have arrived and the staff could not have been more excited to meet them. It was wonderful to watch all the yurt groups walk around with their counselors as they got to know the farm property and learn about the flow of the days here at Farm Camp.
Opening campfire is a first night tradition. All kids are welcome to perform. Last night we got to watch a magic show, many songs, a few funny dances, and some skits that resulted in counselors getting water dumped on them.
Today, all the kids will sign up for their specialties. Specialties are skill building courses that progress throughout the week. Each camper gets to take two specialties a week, four throughout the session. Some of the specialties being offered this week are cooking, barn, garden, Lord of the Rings, archery, and crazy games.
