Take me home to the place I belong

The other day in the dining hall, the campers and staff of Camp Hird improvisationally responded to a song somewhat randomly put on during set-up before lunch—John Denver’s classic adventure/camp-friendly song, “Country Roads.” This was a staple here at Frost Valley in the 1970s and its return was warm and communal. Here’s a brief video clip that gives you a sense of the passion for “home” being “the place I belong.” That place seems to be Frost Valley for these happy people.
