The Hird is Here!
What a wonderful start to session one for Camp Henry Hird! We have had a busy but fulfilling first few days. The heat hasn’t held us back… we’ve been staying hydrated and enjoying the Catskills sunshine. Some highlights from the last few days:
Plateau & Wittenberg enjoyed creeking in the refreshing Biscuit Brook
Graham & Peekamoose participated in natural rock painting
Hunter & Slide embarked on their overnight and hiked over Wildcat Mountain
Half of our CiTs departed for their six day hike whilst the other half have been busy preparing for their departure tomorrow
We hope you have all been having just as much fun as us… and drinking as much water too. Today we enjoyed pizza at lunch, a camp favorite. Tomorrow will bring cooler temperatures after we had some much needed rain today. That’s all for now folks! Build Strong!
